Thanks for the advice ladies ! There are still those within the medical community who are ignorant as to the seriousness of PCOS. In many ways, PCOS is still a mystery to many, many physicians. This explains why there are so many women who go undiagnosed with PCOS for years. If left untreated PCOS can and in some cases does lead to cervical cancer. She does have a point about the birth control but I do see your point about lap-band surgery. I'm considering it myself.

If there is any way, ANY WAY, possible...find another doctor. She obviously doesn't care and it is YOUR RIGHT to find someone who does.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-275592148532867188.post-35881514005618247262010-04-19T16:34:19.321+01:002010-04-19T16:34:19.321+01:00Is there any way you can find another Dr? She realy doesn't sound very nice and obviously isn't concerned with how much this is affecting you :-S

I had problems with a few Drs when I was getting severe pains in my tummy (I had them for about 4 years and it got to the point where I could barely walk sometimes) and none of them could have cared less. I swapped surgeries until I found the one Dr who took notice and did something about it.

Hope you get what you want xTammyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15448653620432888863noreply@blogger.com
